BE A BIN BUDDY !

A 'Bin Buddy' is a neighbour who you can partner with. For instance you may be able to put out their bin as well as yours before the bin collection and they may be able to return it during the day when you are unable.

If you could also volunteer to help a neighbour with special needs or disability, young or old, who cannot return their bins, it will help to reduce crime and the fear of crime by delivering a little peace of mind.

Neighbourhood Watch is all about watching out for your neighbours.
Those residential areas which have a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme consistently prove to have fewer burglaries. A recent British Crime Survey showed that crime fell by up to 64% in areas where schemes had been established.
'Getting together with your neighbours to reduce local crime and disorder in the bid to make your neighbourhood a safe and better place to live, work and play'.
